A Moment That Inspired Everything
The Screen Free was born from a shared concern.
Like most of you, we noticed parents handing phones and tablets to children, though, not happily - at homes, restaurants, airports, and family gatherings. It had become normal. At a delicate age meant for curiosity and development, screens had quietly taken over.
That changed when a 4-year-old niece in our own family was seen confidently using a smartphone - not just games suitable for her age, but social media apps with content never meant for young children.
Around the same time, one of us was preparing to become a parent, and the other was observing childhood closely as an uncle. From different roles, the concern was the same: were we leaving children with screens simply because better alternatives were missing?
Those conversations led to a decision.
The Screen Free exists to give parents a real choice. We are not anti-technology, don't get us wrong - but we believe early childhood should not begin with a risky, toxic dependency.
We create screen-free learning products that encourage thinking, confidence, and play - without apps, ads, or constant stimulation.
Our first product, Math Champion, helps children build a healthy relationship with numbers to eliminate the fear and pressure that would enter the picture.
